Happy Tails: From the parents of our babies

1. Howie is doing absolutely amazing. He seemed shy at first but he has definately shown his personality. Everyone he comes in contact with falls in love with him, I think hes convinced about 5 people to get a schnauzer. My mom had been trying to convince me not to get a dog at first but by now she has already bought him a bed, toys and food bowls just for when he visits. Heis also extremely smart and I love to brag that hes already learned to sit, stay and lay down. Thank you so much for bringing him into my life, I couldn't even imagine not having him now.

2. Rose is the most precious little baby!

   She is doing great. I couldnt have picked a better baby.

   She is just perfect for me and my family.

   I will keep sending you pictures of her if you want, I take quite a few.

   Thank you so much for everything. I really appreciate and enjoy having her,

   She is just so wonderful.

   OH! and....

   She has not pottied inside the house yet. Not once. Not even tried.

   She is very smart and doing very well on going potty outside.

   But, she is still a little young and its easy to know when to take her..

3. Hi Deana,

   It is definitely an adjustment for Bunny, but they seem to do better outside, than inside. Bunny is definitely being stand offish towards Bandit. And Bandit is definitely a hoot!!! He is a riot to watch. So far we had only one accident in the house. I take him out after every nap and after he eats or drinks. When he goes outside with Bunny, he always goes to the bathroom. I think that is a great sign!! He sure loves his toys and Bunny's toys. I definitely think he is going to be a lap baby. Last night we put him in his crate, and he did not cry one bit. He is such a good puppy, and we already love him so much.

   I cannot thank you enough for everything that you did for us. We really appreciate it!!

   We will send pictures as he grows and let you know how he is doing.

4. They are doing GREAT!....I have to admit I was nervous at first but at the end of the day Romeo was following Eddie around and they got along fine. Thanks so much for all you do. We love having them in our lives.=)

5. The girls are getting along well. Kami is not too sure of her but they've tugged together on the rope and Kaci loves to follow her around. She's cries a lot at night but I had to remember that she's a baby and I have to get up for those 3 am potties. It's been awhile since I had an infant. We will send some photos soon.

   Thanks so much. She's a doll. She loves the kids too.

6. Pearl's terrific! The vet gave her the a-ok yesterday. Taking her back

   in 3 weeks to get next round of vaccinations. She is giving my other dog a run for the money! Thank you for everything and I'll keep in touch to let you know how it's going.

7. Elsie is great. She slept all through the night for the first time last night.

   Vet check up was good he said we had a healthy little girl. She is a car

   rider she has went everywhere with us since we've had her. Crystal is

   playing mom Cowboy just walks around her he doesn't seem to mind her at all

   she has been a good addition to the family we are very happy with her.

8. Hi,

   We got your post card in the mail and I wanted to give you an update. We got a black female from you in December of 2007. Her name is "Stormy" she was actually born October 22, 2007. She is the love of my life along with our dogs, but she is my only schnauzer. We have a westie "Buddy" that is 6 months old than her that she loves and then a basset hound "Lena" that is 6 years old and acts like mother hen. Then a couple of weeks ago we rescued a little female westie "Tori" from a puppy mill. They fixed her and was done with her and she was in bad shape, but is coming along great. I am unable to have children and these are my babies, especially "Stormy"; I am a little partial to schnauzers. I had to put my 13 years old schnauzer down last year and it was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I just absoulutely love schnauzers there is a bond like no other. I hope you enjoy the pictures and thank you so much for my adorable baby.

10. Hello!

    Jack is doing great! We took him to our vet on Tuesday, and he weighed in at 2 lbs. 5 oz. He had a great health report! He has adjusted well in our home, and loves playing with our daughter, and almost always wants to sit in our lap.

11. She is doing great! We named her CoCo Chanel, and the first day she was pretty shy but she has warmed up! Shes been running around the house, and playing with her toys. I took her to the vet on Tuesday and she checked out perfect. We got her a little collar and name tag, and she goes back for her shots in a couple of weeks. She is so sweet, she loves to cuddle and is really good about using the doggy pads for her business. She even got her own room in our house! Thank you again, ill send pictures soon.

12. Spice is doing fantastic. She is wonderful. The vet said she was in great condition, and to no surprise adorable. We are taking her back next week for her vaccination. We will send updated pictures soon. We are crate training her and she has done fantastic. She already goes to the back door when she needs to go out. She is so smart. She is very playful and the girls are having so much fun with her. We are so thankful that we found you all. Ya'll have been so great. Thanks again for everything.

14. Just to give you an update! Winchester settled in well with the house and the family. Went to the Vet with a clean bill of health. He is fat as a little bear can be!

    We love him and it was well worth the trip to meet you guys and pick his little butt up! Thanks for helping me make this Christmas wonderful!

15. Hello,

    We just wanted to let you know that “Willy” or Raider is what we decided to name him is doing great! He went to the vet yesterday and they told us that we had a very healthy puppy and that he is very well behaved! He is also doing very well with potty training for the most part a few accidents here and there but that is his Daddy’s fault for not realizing the signs that he needed to go. He has also adjusted to Jason’s voice easily. We will defiantly be sending you some pictures as soon as we get some more. Thank you so much for a Wonderful Christmas Present!!!!! We hope you Have a Happy New Year!!!

16. Hi Deana! I have intended to email you so many times. Sophie is doing great! Sophie just had her spay completed 10 days ago thru Petsmart who we’ve been using for all of her care. She had a mini Schnauzer cut a couple of months ago and will have a ‘grown up’ Schnauzer cut at the end of the week. She travels with us very well on road trips and we finally accomplished the housebreaking with bells hanging on the door, etc. a few weeks ago – just before the 6 month mark where we were 100% confident she ‘got it.’ Now she just rings them all the time to go out!!- we think even to play! We also completed her 10 week course of Puppy Training thru Petsmart as well – finished a few weeks ago. It was very helpful for us as much as her! I know we need to get her registration in – it is sitting here on my desk with a stack of course.

    Thank you for blessing our family with our precious Sophie. We don’t know what we’d do without her!

17. They are doing great!! They are getting so big. They went to the vet for the second time last week, and had the second round of shots. And let's see, they definitely have different personalities. They sleep all night, but get up around 4 am, which is when my husband gets up anyway, and he takes them out. And than I stay up all morning with them, and they like to nap a lot during the day, and are ready to go again in the late afternoon. Taylor loves to fetch the cloth frisbee. Lucy just likes to be cuddled, and would rather chase tennis balls. They get a ton of attention with all of us. We absolutely love them. They are very sweet, and totally a part of the family. They go on quite a few car rides with us. And they are starting to like it more. Taylor gained 2 lbs in the first 2 weeks with us. And Lucy was at a lb more. She is just a smaller puppy. They have quite an appetite! Thanks for the puppies. And we will send pics and update you soon.

18. It has truly been a blessing since Eddie pranced into our lives. Thank You! We love him so much! He is attending intermediate dog training right now since passing basic training with flying colors. He is so well behaved, playful, and loving. I'm thankful every day having our little buddy in our lives. I know my husband wasn't too crazy about the idea of getting a puppy, but Eddie melted his heart at first sight and continues to do so, on a daily basis.

20. Hi Deana,

    Nikko is doing great, he is one of the family and knows it.

    He has discovered in the past two weeks that he is a hunter, chasing squirrels, opossums, and birds (unfortunately he has killed two already) as he is defending his territory very well. He really loves to be outside.

    Also loves the kids. We took him to the puppy training at PetsSmart which was good training for us; we still need to work on "come" and "stay" when he tries to take off. He also is working on not pulling us as we walk him. At more than 6 mos. he is teething a lot, but does quite well with the "chewies".

    Thanks for caring for the great animals you have and the ones you passed to us.

21. I just wanted to let you know that Paris is wonderful. We took her to

    the vet and they said everything looked good. She is house trained, well

    almost, she has her accidents but who doesnt. We will send you pictures

    when she gets a little bigger so you can see her. Thank you so much for
